I hate his american twang, I'm glad he knows it is bad and that peopel lay into him for it...in a lovely way though

*giggles* i love his accent having that english hint to it so much, id be upset if he lost it too an American accent..not that there is anything wrong with american accents - cause i love it...but it wouldn't suit him

Hahaha. I'm American...and most people do not appreciate the beauty of the English language over here. They truly do rape it...I believe it's through use rather than accent. People have trouble speaking properly. The accent isn't too bad if you don't muddle words and use them improperly. And diction...whatever happened to diction? Alright, I'm a bit of a grammar freak...I can't help it :)

I love the fact that the English say Aluminium...We just say Aluminum. How boring.

Lol! I pick up accents too. I learned to sing with Julie Andrews movies and to this day, people tell me I sound English when I sing. :) Then again, I'll speak in my normal American accent and people think I'm from England anyway. They stop me everywhere and ask what part of England I'm from. I really don't know what they're on half the time.

Anyway, Southern accents can actually be cute. Did you know that many people feel at ease when talking to a person with a Southern accent? I thought that was a fun fact. ^_^

I totally agree about "use rather than accent." An accent won't help anything if you have no vocabulary. Rappers need to stop butchering my language! ...And we need to stop butchering England's English. It's an all-around melee.

We poor English majors are being obliterated by America's over-obsession with slang. *cries* To the point: I do love accents, they're all (well, most) seem to add something new to the language that wasn't there before...like the way Apocalyptica says "Ah-poh-coh-lip-tic" rather than "A-poc-ah-lip-tic"

English is fun xD

They actaully couldn't have been TOO drunk, because most tattoo artistsd won't tattoo people who are drunk because it thins out the blood (or something like that).
